Did anyone catch the 2026 LA Area Emmy Awards winners?

PBS SoCal had a fantastic night at the 2026 Los Angeles Area Emmy Awards, taking home 8 awards, just like in 2025. KMEX-TV followed closely with 7 wins, while KVEA secured 6. It's interesting to see how local stations are consistently recognized in such competitive categories.

Totally loved seeing PBS SoCal rack up those wins at the 2026 Emmys! Their commitment to quality programming really stood out, and it's so cool that local stations are getting recognized more these days. KMEX-TV and KVEA had some strong contenders too, especially in the cultural segments. Makes you appreciate the diversity and depth in local storytelling.
