Well, this was a very entertaining series, with a very interesting, if not confusing, ending. Although, my questions about Jupiter's true past were made quite clear, but I know I missed something. Anyway, some aspects of the ending very much reminded me of the Dairanger ending with the goings on within the bad guy group, Death Trap.
I very much enjoyed this series. The costumes grew on me as time went by, and I've come to love them. And each character was given their time to shine despite the obvious focus of the show being on Jupiter (with the Red Cyber Bit Armor). Sadly though for the bad guys, only two of them were stand out, Lucifer (who wasn't really with Death Trap), and Beast Master Luna (a late comer who basically out shone the other members of Death Trap). But there still was Fuhrer, the evil floating head who can only be the origin of MMPR’s Zordon, but I digress.
The effects in this show were very cheesy, but they get much bonus points for originality and trying to go above and beyond what they probably should have. They may have gone a bit overboard with the compositing, but some of it surprisingly came out quite well. I really did love the henshin sequences and Jupiter’s power up sequence.
All in all this series is definitely worth watching.
