Of course they will, most DC characters will be in the game as NPCs, especially the big ones.

Sort of, probably not so varied. It's all based on the stats and skills. The NPCs use the same system, based on stats not classes. The example in Edge was that Superman's abilities are all based on the stats/ abilities system, so for example super strength is based on a couple of different stats, and raising them gives more power and moves. Secret identities are part of getting items and equipment.
