Dairugger XV toy question

So the anime makes a point that the Rugger Team vehicles have two combinations: Each of the three teams can use their five vehicles to form a larger vehicle. But then all fifteen together can also make the eponymous Dairugger mecha.

I'm wondering, do the actual toys based on this show have this same ability (fifteen vehicles able to turn into either three larger vehicles or one large mech)? That seems like it would be impressive, but really hard to pull off in practical application.

I'm pretty sure the original Vehicle Voltron toy from Matchbox could do both.
