You know I have to say that those guys seem to have a lot of heart for what their doing but don't seem to grasp everything about it. I can tell you that from and editor's stand point there was some bias in the reporting and editing(choppy/mocky)
But I agree with the guys despite their off hands approach on not knowing dates and such. There are things that Jews, Muslims and Christian agree on as far as a young earth and other aspects of creationism.

Were these kids being brainwashed though? Absolutely not. Most of them probably believed this before they got there since they were Christian kids.

It feels like Brainwashing when you have the "tour guides" telling the children what to say. "Everyone say no!" and "They dont know! Repeat with me, THEY DO NOT KNOW"

But true, the children were probably brain washed much earlier than this. Being "home schooled" and all. Feel sorry for them. Not saying what's true but the way these guys are "educating" the children isn't right.

You have a point there. But I do know and have met much more educated and tactful teachers of creationism. And I don't know if brain washing is the word here. Theres diffrent views for everything under the sun and this country is the melting pot of thousands of those views.

Thing that bothers me the most is, the evidence is there. It's real.

How does science go against the existence of God? Why is it, that if we have a real working universe that it still cannot have been created by God?

It just bothers me. God made more than what was discovered in the Bible. Made it for us to discover and understand and enjoy. Why just pretend it doesn't exist? How does it existing challenge the existence of God in the slightest?

That is a perfect quote. There's nothing wrong with understanding how the universe works. God made it in a way that it works and gave us the means to figure it out further ourselves. Science doesn't disprove God... it's just... science.

It just weirds me out. God made a real universe that works. I don't see how Christians can interpret scientific discoveries as being anti-God.

That's how I always figured it. However, Science apparently disproves the bible which, according to the bible, the Earth is only some thousands of odd years old. But Science states it's billions of years. That's where most of the debate stems from.

You have people who believe we were put here vs people who believe we evolved from microscopic life forms. It's tough to find a common ground for both notions to coexist.
