Contra ReBirth will be available for WiiWare for 1000 Nintendo Points. It will be released on May 12, 2009 in Japan, so while the American release date hasn't been set yet, it'll most likely come out sometime around late Summer or Fall.
This is the second in the Konami ReBirth series. The first one was Gradius ReBirth, which is also available for WiiWare (both Japan and US).
I am SO excited to play this and I'm a huge 2D Contra fan. Hell, Contra 4 was the #1 reason I bought a Nintendo DS Lite back in 2007.
