I'm really intrigued by "Capital Scandal," especially since it mixes such interesting themes like romance and the historical backdrop of 1930s Gyeongseong. I might be in the minority, but I love K-dramas that blend humor with serious topics, so this sounds like it could be right up my alley.

I'm curious about how the romantic elements play out against such a significant historical context. Do you think the comedy will balance well with the political aspects, or might it feel too jarring at times? It is going on my watch list.

I was curious because the first time I heard of Gyeongseong it was a HORROR K-drama about the Japanese performing horrific scientific experiments on Koreans. This Korean drama is not in the horror genre. It's a comedy set in Gyeongseong. So I just wanted to watch it for contrast.
