Capcom vs Tatsunoko

This. Is. Cool. The upcoming issue of Famitsu announces an interesting 2D fighting game match-up: Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes. Yes, that Tatsunoko, you know, the studio behind TV anime Speed Racer, Casshern and what Westerners know as Robotech. The game is being developed by Capcom and will storm Japanese arcades this winter. It will feature tag battles, and so far Ryu, Chun-Li, Ken Washio from Gatchaman and Casshern have been announced.

From the scans, it's a bit hard to make out any detail. All I can see right now is that the game is apparently 2D (but not sprite based - it's hard to tell - but the source of the scans is saying 2.5D) and will feature properties from the vast Tatsunoko line-up including Gatchaman (Ken Washio and Casshan are shown off in the scan) competing in 2 vs 2 cross-over battles against the Capcom line-up (Chun-li is the only one I could make out, but if you squint hard enough it looks like Ryu is in the top right corner of the scan throwing a Haduken). While nothing is given, I am personally hoping that we get some nice Samurai Pizza Cats vs. Viewtiful Joe action... Other properties from Tatsunoko include Speed Racer, Tekkaman, and Space Ace.

Licensing would kinda make it impossible, since Speed Racer and Robotech were licensed by different companies.

now Casshern needs his movie suit also cuz i thought it looked rad even though the movie didnt...looks like another game that will need to be imported...

but u can already get this game, its call MUGEN...

Luckily, because its a fighting game it won't really require that you to know Japanese
