i meant to read that novel :3 onigokko = tag/it
basically the story is about the fact that there are too many satou's in jpn.. so they decide that they want to decrease the numbers a bit... and start a game of real tag.. in which if u're caught, you're killed
i like this author, i read a bit of his newer book d-door last year, that one is almost exactly like the movie saw though, but is more about self-sacrifice than about people killing someone else to escape.. in that story, someone needs to sacrifice themselves in order for the door to open to the next room and theres a total of 8 rooms or something like that.. i cried after i read up until the first door >_<

okay so i started reading the sample of the book on amazon.co.jp and its pretty twisted... it reminds me alot of battle royale... well more like the book of battle royale than th emovie
newayz so the main premise of the story seems that storyline takes place in the year 3000 and jpn in under the rule of a monarchy.. the 150th one to be precise..newayz the country is now a model country, hardly any crime or murders etc... but the king in control is pretty bad.. everyone wants his little brother to rule, but since the current king is pretty ruthless, noone says anything. oh and btw the king's name is satou. one day he has a hissy fit that so many people have the same last name as him and orders his staff to think of a way to fix this problem... and then the sample cuts off XDDD but i'm sure everyone knows what "solution" they came up with XD
