Calling all HJU Canadians

Winnipeg would be fuming if Wayne lights the cauldron.

Does Winnipeg even care about hockey after the Jet's left? I ask out of curiosity. I haven't been home since before they left for phoenix.

Somebody's trying to get an NHL franchise back:

Whether he's believable or a snake oil salesman is debatable.

Well, who knows what'll happen. They made a big deal when they left, but despite the fan base they really weren't pulling in enough ticket sales to keep them in Winnipeg. It'd be nice to see a team back there though... Winnipeg needs more than just the bombers.

I swear, my brother and I must be the only guys in Winnipeg that are not deluded enough to see and know that the city simply does NOT have the ability to support an NHL franchise. For fucks sake, we're not really supporting the teams that we DO have that well.

I'm getting the feeling the Blue Bombers are not doing well...

That'd be putting it mildly. Last season they made it to the Grey Cup final. This season...their record is currently 1W - 5L.

Anyone here from Mississauga?

I'd like to point out, that I'm Chinese, but I was brought up here

You don't have any resentments for the Phoenix Coyotes? (I am a fan, and try to catch a game or too, even though it's a long drive to the Jobing.Com Arena.)

I used to live near there in Oakville. Now I'm back in London.
