The 'prestige' edition comes with Night Vision Goggles, they're not a peripheral, so much as actual night vision goggles.

Only if you want to play it in the dark... in which case you wouldn't actually see the screen since they wouldn't be able to distinguish anything on there as it all registers as a light source.

So no, no connection at all to the game proper.

that would be cool thought night vision goggles that worked with the tv some how maybe in 20 years who knows what kind of gaming we will hae by then though lol!

Since I'm very impatient about this and not willing to wait for 2 weeks for my copy to get here, I'm going to rent it at Movie Gallery for 5 days. That'll somehow make me calm down about it.
