Anyone ever been to Santa Cruz before? I'm moving into my dorm in a couple weeks and I'm curious as to what's there to do and what are some recommended places I should hit up.

Been there, but only on car trips with my family, so I know practically nothing about what would be fun to go to for a college student.

Have a blast, though! Going to the UC there?

I'm pretty excited too, 'cause I hear UCSC houses the Grateful Dead archives at their library idk much about the band, but I hear they're good... lol ^^;;

Well UCI is the Anteaters... Which isn't much better.

I don't know much about UCSC or the Grateful Dead, but it's cool that they've got all their stuff in the library there.
