Bruce Kalish, please read this....

I think they need to do away with the 'chess pieces' cockpit scenes and get a more conventional cockpit set to use. Kids just won't get the 'changing into zords' thing. My neighbor has two sons, ages 4 and 6, and i showed them my MagiRanger toys and explained the story to them, and how Mystic Force was gonna show up after SPD. They got everything except the turning into zords part. I had to explain that 5 different times. lol
 
Nah...it'll probably be worth it for the toy sales alone. The only thing I don't like is the cockpit...really, what does chess have to do with anything?

I just hope to God it looks better than that embarassing MMPR3 cock pit for the Shogun Megazoard... *shudders*
 
at least they were better than the cockpit for season 2 thunder megazord. Now if they looked like the one they had for the Maxsolorzord that be cool
 
The one where like... you could see they super imposed the cockpit over the chest of the Shogun and like... all they had was a stick to hold onto?

I thought that cock pit just looked too generic.

I'd rather not have chesspieces in the American version myself, but I think we'll be getting them nonetheness.

The one you're refering to is the Thunder Megazord cockpit. That was pretty crappy. I thought the Season 3 cockpits kicked ass! I liked season 3 a bunch because the Ranger suits really started looking good on the actors and stuntmen and the original cockpits were well done.
