Book List/Recommendations?

Right now I'm currently reading Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay, the origin for that kickin' Showtime show, Dexter. (If you are allergic to reading, at least watch the show.) But I'm like, probably going to finish this book and the next one fairly soon...

So, anyone currently reading a good book, have a summer reading list, or any recommendations?

All of Amy Tan's books are AMAZING to me, and I enjoy reading them over and over. "The Kitchen God's Wife", "The Bonesetter's Daughter", "The Joy Luck Club", and "A Hundred Secret Senses".

Also, "Memoirs of a Geisha" was a very good read...if you liked the movie you'll love the book ten times more.

The Pendergast novels by Child & Preston are good, really enjoyed Relic, Reliquary, Cabinet of Curiosities and Still Life With Crows. You usually can't go wrong with Philip K Dick stories, especially his short story anthologies.

The Time Machine was okay, but the ending kind of pissed me off. The Invisible Man is a better H.G. Wells novel.

Some of my favorite books, though, are 1984, A Scanner Darkly, The Catcher in the Rye, and Die Softly by Christopher Pike.
