Yeah...the topic is almost a year old :redface2:
But I'm just discovering Guyver now :laugh:
I have the next couple of days off, so I'll probably watch Guyver 2 at some point. Just haven't gotten around to it yet :thumbs:

I decided to watch the movie tonight. DAMN it was good!! WAAAAAY better than the first flick!!

Only problem w/ this new found love of Guyver & watching the BioBoosted Armor anime is I now want one of those Max Factory Guyver I toys :laugh:

Anyway, I just started watching the Bioboosted Armor series (2005) and it's pretty good so far.
Probably would have never checked it out if The Guyver wasn't on Sci-Fi network last week and I saw part of. Which then made me want to go rent the movies (still have yet to watch Guyver 2) and then made me start looking for the new anime series to download and watch.

So concider me a converted Guyver fan

So glad Manga Entertainment lost the license and I hope ADV picks both the new series and the OVA.

All I hope is that Viz doesn't get the license back for the Guyver manga. After seeing their horrid editing skills with Saint Seiya, Kinnikuman II, and even the rilliant marketing maneuver of starting the Bobobo-Bo-BoBoBo manga in the MIDDLE of the story and not at the beginning, I pray that Tokyopop get this one.

Okay...so now I want to get into the Guyver Manga. But there seems to be a bunch of books that have been but out.

Can anyone recomend what series of manga to pick up? Or are these just all the same books just re-released over and over again.

Same series all over again. New publisher came in and re-released everything, making things a living hell for people like me who bought the original Shounen Captain release.

Thinking about selling what I've got to get the new ones but..yeah sentimental value

I've seen them both raw and sub'ed.
Go to www.isohunt.com it's pretty much a search engine for torrents. That's how I found them all.
