Believer (2018) and Believer 2 (2023) are Korean movies, categorized as Crime, Action and Thriller, and are both streaming on Netflix. In both movies, the bad guys and the good guys are still looking for the mysterious “Mr. Lee”. ♦ Believer (2018): Lee and Laika (Part 1) In “Believer”, Won-Ho, a brave and dedicated detective along with his brave and dedicated investigative team goes deep undercover to try to catch a notorious drug kingpin known as “Mr. Lee”. They have a huge blindspot because … nobody has ever seen “Mr. Lee” so they don’t know what he looks like. It’s not just the good guys who have never seen Mr. Lee. The bad guys don’t know who he is or what he looks like either. Mr. Lee is represented by his most trusted employee, a young man named Seo Young-Rak. This guy is super smart and efficient. He handles everything from the product manufacturing process to selling to customers to shipping to money collection. He does it all FOR Mr.

"Believer" and its sequel had me hooked from start to finish! I mean, who doesn't love a good crime thriller, right? The mystery surrounding Mr. Lee kept me guessing, and the action scenes had me on the edge of my seat. Plus, the chemistry between the characters was just spot on. It's like you could feel the tension between them through the screen. And that scene with the dog surviving the factory fire? Heart-wrenching, but it really added depth to the story.

"Believer 2" fell a bit short for me. Don't get me wrong, it had its moments, but it just didn't have the same impact as the first one. Still worth a watch though

The whole cat-and-mouse game with Mr. Lee? Intriguing stuff. And can we talk about that twist with Seo Young-Rak turning informant? Totally didn't see that coming. But here's the kicker, while "Believer 2" had its moments, it didn't quite live up to the hype of the first one for me. Still enjoyable, but not as mind-blowing

These movies had me set from the beginning. What about the whole Mr. Lee saga? This is fascinating information. What about the action? Solid. However, although the first one had me invested, the sequel fell short. Do you sense me? It felt like something was missing. Still, if you enjoy crime movies, give them a go.
