Ditto! I saw it with the Simpsons and was like...They plushified my childhood. hahaha. I mean what's not to like? Furry cute creatures that sing and dance in high-pitched voices - going gangsta! LOL

I find that funny, too. I hope they do at least one gangsta/rap song in the movie. Would be hilarious. Just as long as it's not that "Hip hop hippie hippie to the hip hip hop and you dont stop blah blah". That song is used in little family film jokes all the time.

Eh, actually I guess you're right. I think most of us get this reflex to hate on old school remakes because of the 80's and early 90's and how often they fucked things up like Super Mario Brothers and Street Fighter.

It's not geared toward me, but it might be good.

Guess time will tell. Hollywood more and more seems to be in control of people that know better and they did get back the original voices...

i think i'm gonna skip this one. i saw one of them hold a turd in their mouth in the preview and i was like......

It's geared towards families so... I think the movie has the potential to be a good one. Alvin sounds exactly the same as from the old cartoons. (Not that it's hard, considering the squeaky voice, but still I wonder if it's the same voice actor?)

The chipmunks are adorable. I wouldnt mind seeing the movie, myself. It seems like a great movie to go to with family.
