Battlestar Galactica: RAZOR -Talkback

[Mega Ranger]

nearing the end of it's show killing one year Hiatus The creators of BSG decided to fill in some of the missing year of the series with the Tale of the Battlestar Pegasus, Switching between the intial attack on the colonies to Lees first mission the Movie was actually pretty good.

The Good
- BATTLEstar, lots of boom lots of mission lots of shotting, Dramastar Galactica was gone for 2 hours.
- Good story, it took a new character and made them very believable and tied them into both stories
- Campbell Lane, EVIL MotherFracker.... I don't know if we were supposed to be listening to what he said but when campbell Lane talks all I hear is the him talking about "Drinking my Spark" EVIL MOTHERFRACKING PRED!!!
- OLD SCHOOL CYLONS!!!!

"Raptor destroyed, continue assault on the Battlestar Galactica"......."By your Command"

a million naked women couldn't do to me what that scene did.

The Bad
- Lesbians. Seriously did we need to creat some BS excuse for Cains cruelty towards the 6 model. I mean seriously can Galactica go one episode with out some sexual shocker....(Hey maybe in seaosn 4 lee will give Kara the shocker!)
- The Flashback, Sci-fi did this whole thing about watching the flashbacks to understand the story and then played them almost in thier entirty.

The Ugly
- Severed arms peeled away....YUMMY!

The film was swell stuff. It focused on all areas more than I thought it would.

It'd have been neat if they revealed the Cylon Adam fought with in freefall was a past incarnation of Tigh, but nothing came of that.

I thought it was good stuff, it didn't really grab me but it was awesome to see some new Galactica :buttrock:

This is the thing that really did it for me though:

Kara Thrace will lead the human race to it's end. She is the harbinger of death. They must not follow her.

About a year and a half before any of that happened too...

And, of course, a new teaser for season 4 that made me remember there's still one Cylon we don't know the identity of.

AND SEASON ONE ON HD-DVD IS COMING BITCHES!!!!!

Well first off Never believe a word that comes out of the mouth of Campbell Lane or any character he plays.

Second, I still say the final Cylon will be a CGI Lorne Green.

Has any reason been given for such a long hiatus between the third and fourth seasons?

I suppose it may be even longer now, given the current writers strike.

that whole movie was as exciting as when the mini-series movie came out back in 2002.

Well that was pretty cool. It was nice to see Lee Adama not acting like a complete douche bag like he ends up being in the third season.

Yeah lest face it, they had 6 episodes written for Season 3, then 20 episodes of filler. where "HEY lets have everyone be a douche in uniform who could turn into a cylon at any given time! oh and dualla is suddenly a main characetr...deal with it!"
