Latest episode was nice--too bad Stark's a terrible communicator, but I expect that from a guy who heads a business, is a superhero, and leads a superhero team.

IIRC, he was sort of distracted when he was talking to him, and then by the time he realized the way Simon was taking it, the guy was already yelling at him and storming out.
I think he just took it for granted that Simon would know that his company was going under and would be grateful for his help.
