Are Prepaid Credit Cards Good to Used?

Need someone's opinion on this. Is Prepaid Credit Cards worth it? I never used one, but I'm thinking of doing so. So do I have to open a account for this? If so, how do I do so?

These days, all you need to do is go to a store, even Wal-Mart works, pay whatever amount you want to load onto the card plus whatever fees are required, and that's it. Some cards only come in pre-determined amounts. Look at the card itself that you want for instructions.

It's ridiculously foolproof to buy one.

Yup. In fact, I just recently got an anime boxset (Getter Robo Armageddon, for those who care ) on Amazon with a prepaid card.

In the UK we call these "debit cards", and everyone who has a bank account gets one when they turn 16.

A Debit Card is something completely different.

do you mean prepaid "debit" cards? cuz they have a lot of those at almost every store nowadays. and i've never heard nor seen any prepaid credit cards before.
