Okay, I don't mind being challenged. Let me just rea-- *Clicks link* WHOA! Mountain of text! Can I just get the short version or the cliff notes or something?

Then again , the Unicron Trilogy is American designed and written functioning as a Japanese-American co-production. In fact, Armada was rushed here to the chagrin of many, with some unfinished animation.

Sorry for getting off topic, but I actually liked Armada. I know all the hate behind it, and there are a lot of valid arguments against it, but I still like it. I like it, flaws and all. In fact, the rushed translation of the script gives us a peak at the Japanese script. When Optimus, thanks to a script error, called Overload "Ultra Magnus", I thought it was awesome! I wanted them to KEEP the Japanese name! And his Robot Mode design is indeed inspired by Ultra Magnus. I could see it the more I looked at it.

It's basically saying that copyright laws, especially in their current form were not actually designed to help writers, but publishers/companies, and that "artists will starve if we didn't have tight laws this way" is untrue or at least, used to hide another agenda. Specifically to enable companies to continuously profit from material produced long ago. Although, I'm not sure how that's relevant to people pirating stuff they can get for free.

ok, so short version, just watch the south park version of what happens when you download a song and the artist can't afford a pool for their kid.

I agree, based on your summary Shynilyte. Doesn't seem all that relevant.
And if you are talking about that South Park episode where music artists can't afford their fancy mansions and extravagant stuff like that, then yes, I saw that. But I don't think that has much relevance to this topic either.

I liked Armada too and I have not seen it in a while. Wished it would be on reruns tho. Also wish they released the soundtrack or the dub theme.
