Anyonw liked Beyblade?

I was watching some toon disney, then all the sudden Beyblade came on.I watched it, thought that G rev was not as good as the first season.Did/does anyone watch beyblade? I guess kids got sick of spintops, so now there is a show kinda like it.Battle B Daman.Marble shooting action figures......sounds cool.....:disappoin

B-Daman's been out since like...the early 90s.

B-Daman isnt really my kinda show. It's too childish. It really reminds you that you are watching a kids show. Very silly. I love Beyblade though. I hated it at first but it grew on me. I like the first season a lot but I think GRev is one of my favorite seasons. It really had the best animation and a good story. And you got to see everyone again. Beyblade also has some good music. I bought a couple of the soundtracks from Canada. They were hard to find though.

Heck i liked it too the second season kinda irked me in the wrong direction but g-rev made up for it..

yeah second season wasnt really the best. They switched to 3D blades. The animation was better but the bey battles suffered a bit from the new 3D-ness of it all. I liked the new music and the Kain battles. Those were the highlights of the season. But it wasnt my favorite.

G-Rev was amazingly awesome. The 3D bey battles were a lot better and faster. Nicely animated. The first season is also really good.

I mean the idea of spinning tops, saving the world, and bleh. That didnt go well with me at first. I dont know when I started liking this series.. oh now I remember. I was watching the Rey vs Mariah saga on TV. Seeing the little story unfold and the build up to their match actually made me notice how good the show could be.

The show really is underappreciated by most, I would say. But I loved it. I wish it still played on TV.

Nah, I pretty much hated Beyblade. Where the **** is my Medabots?!! And no, not that crappy second series--the original! Damn, that plus Digimon S1 gives me crazy nostalgia.

The thing that gets me about Beyblade is...how did SPIN TOPS get so popular??? With all this tech, that's all they have to do? Look at spin tops? Its even worse than Yu-Gi-Oh 'cause at least there you could say that people are captivated by the depth of the card game.

Beyblade has more going for it than Spin Tops. If you can like Medabots then you should try to look at the story workings of Beyblade instead of just hating it for the tops. I used to hate the show and ended up loving it.

Same with Medabots. I used to HATE that show until I saw one episode then I instantly loved all of it. lol. That show was hilarious. Medabee was a riot and the fights were good. The episode I saw was this one where one of the Criminal guys sneaks into science building, blah blah blah. I forget their names now. But anywho he falls for this girl. Shes getting a ride home from a friend and this criminal guy mistakes it as being her BF. It gets all dramatic and at the end, Medabee turns to Ickee and is all like "Quick Ickee! Catch her on the rebound!" I cracked up SO bad at that for several minutes. I couldnt believe he said that. Totally changed my view of the show because the jokes were hysterical.

Great season. I hated season 2. Such a shame. But season 1 was great. I loved the action half way through towards the end. The whole Medaforce thing was awesome. Rokushoooooo =_= anywho.


I think what hurt Medabots 2 the most was that half of the voice cast didnt return. A lot of the voices were different. Also the dialogue just wasnt as funny as the first season which was dissapointing. The action wasnt as good either and wtf happened to Mr Referee? Seriously.

what I loved about Medabots was that it could joke around but STILL take itself seriously. When it needed to get dramatic or serious it did. If it wanted to be goofy it was and it made you laugh. In the end you could really start to care for the characters. I want to see that series again. They should replay it on Jetix.

Its the same reason I like Beyblade. They take themselves seriously. They can joke around and make you laugh but when the story gets dramatic, they dont make fun of themselves. They take the idea of spinning tops seriously. The story is actually good for the most part.

If you dropped the whole spinning top side of the story and just focused on the rest of it you realize it's a good show. And the beyblade action isnt that bad, in fact it's great sometimes.

When I saw the ep where the boy`s brain was fried, then the ep with the android boy, I was hooked.

I am glad to see that I am not the only one who didn't like Medabots 2. I loved the first season, but when these bots started getting 2 modes, and the introduction of Kilobots, it just turned me off. As for Beyblade, I thought G-Revolution was the best of all the seasons...I was, however, I bit disappointed w/ the end. I mean, you see this awesome battle between Kai and Brooklyn(I think that's what his name was), and then you see Tyson in his little half-assed battle against the other dude. But I remember going into KB Toys and picking up the HMS Draciel, Dranzer and Dragoon for like $7. My friend and I made a crappy dish and just wreaked havoc!

Where the **** is Medabots anyway? They killed it off the air?......just like they did with Monster Rancher...:shakefist
