Anyone like Kai from Den-O?

I still think everyone is giving him way too much credit. Den-O needed him but he is medicore at best when compared to other villans in toku.

Agreed. He is even more CRUEL.

The problem is that there was no introduction of Kai. He showed up nowhere. He was just.... there. Hopefully, we get to know about him soon enough before the finale.
 
Kai is just plain scary. He looks so simple minded but he has thought up some crazy plans. Not to mention he has control of almost all imagins and can send them to anytime he wants to. This guy is straight up dangerous. He not the best villian I've ever seen but he's definetely not the worst. As for Hana/Kohana, Although the actress who plays Kohana has done a good job considering replacing Yuriko Shiratori on short notice, It would be a shame if Yuriko Shiratori/Hana didn't at least show up towards/at the end.
 
Kai is lame in so many levels.
The writer just brought him out of thin air as a plot device to reactivate a plot that was getting stuck real bad.
The director wants him to be happy/creepy not knowing he's just unpleasant. And it is disturbing but not in a good way, you can't see why the character is like that.
I don't feel the actor has an idea of what he's doing, he's just reading the script and doing what the director tells him to.
I think the effect they want to make is much more fortunate on the character Xi of Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro.
 
A different type of villian after having so many similar villians such as some who hide his face only showing part of him or his voice only or showing up acting calm and cool in some weird clothings. Kai seem to be new type of villian which make you want to watch more because is smily face seem to hide his thoughts and hope he will get in the fight at the end.
 
Kai is just part of what has been a poor installment to the KR franchise. Now I've only watched Blade, Kabuto and Den-O so I'm not exactly an expert but seriously - the enemy sucks, the plot makes no sense, kohana is a little brat and the show plays on the same boring themes over and over and over and over and over and over again. Note to writers: that joke wasn't good in episode 3, its not going to be good in 13, 18, 23, 27, 31, 41 (random numbers btw )

I'm struggling to finish.

My dislike for Kai is just apart of my overall hate for Den-O. Therefore a thread asking on opinions on Kai is still an opportunity for me to share my overall feelings and the fact that he has not changed my opinion of Den-O.
