Anyone here watch Nickelodeon's THE MIGHTY B!?

I'm wondering if anyone here is watching Nickelodeon's The Mighty B!, as I'm a really big fan of this series! If you didn't already know, it's basically the girl scouts version of Ren & Stimpy (50s/60s retro cartoon feel, gross humor, vintage library music, etc.), especially as it was co-created by a former Spumco animator, Eric Wiese. Amy Poehler does the voice for the title character, Bessie Higgenbottom, a high-strung but lovable nerdy Honeybees girl scout, who wants to collect all of her troop's badges, so that, as legend says, she will become the "Mighty Bee," which she envisions as her imaginary alter-ego (a muscular version of herself in a bee-themed costume)! This is Nickelodeon's best new show, if you can catch it.

Just last month, the season finale, a special half-hour episode called "Dragonflies," premiered. It's the most exciting episode yet! It pits Bessie and the Honeybees against a vicious rival troop called the Dragonflies. Plenty of non-stop action throughout!

It's a cartoon on Nickelodeon. It's fairly recent; it premiered last year.

Catch it if you have Nickelodeon (or Nicktoons)! If not, check out the link on the first post of this thread. (I have it there for a reason!) TurboNick has some episodes to sample.

There's a DVD out already, with the first several episodes, and some neat extras, including the vocal & karaoke versions of "Running With The Rainbow Unicorn" from the episode "We Got the Bee."

Saw the Halloween episode ("Catatonic") today! This episode is absolutely wild and hilarious!

It's about Bessie getting a cat costume (instead of the pirate costume she wanted), and how, from an accident, she ends up actually being a cat, and Happy (Bessie's dog) tries to resist chasing her!

I highly recommend catching this episode within this week (Halloween is a week from today)! To warm you up for it, check out the music video made to tie in with the special:

Just heard from co-creator Erik Wiese that The Mighty B! has just been unceremoniously canceled. So we probably have the rest of Season 2 to look forward to.

Either way, this is the last straw. I'll never forgive Nickelodeon.

They've canceled shows after one season; Invader ZIM, My Life as a Teenage Robot, The X's, El Tigre: The Adventures of Manny Rivera, etc. (although ZIM lasted a season and a half, and Teenage Robot lasted 3 seasons.)

Why? Apparently, Nickelodeon seems to be playing favorites. Next thing you know, they'll cancel ALL of their cartoons, just so Spongebob Squarepants is all they have left! (Barring Nick Jr.'s lineup.)

The Mighty B! is my favorite cartoon on TV (besides The Venture Bros.), and I'm very sorry to see it go.
