Clownfish TV posted an exclusive, anime studios around Japan are using artificial intelligence to make things easier for their staff and BlueSky commies are melting down over it.
AI is the future, I've seen plenty of humanslop over the years (Kamen Ride Build anyone?) and there's hundreds of anime out there that are below the decency mark of a 5/10, it's not hard for AIkino to get made. What position will Anime News Network take: Still think anything other than plot and characters are window dressing or confess that visuals are the most important component to animation? The real answer will be provided by the ad money (because that is how journos operate). I can already see AI going back and fixing bad anime: A version of Iron Blooded Orphans where the space rats die in the first episode and the rest of the story is Ein and Rustal punishing terrorist trash, a version of Planet With that figures out lasers don't bend and isn't sloppy, a version of Fruits Basket where the heroine gets off her ass and tries to find a way to uncurse all the boys instead of whatever the hell, a version of Steam Detectives that is cogent and doesn't have one of the worst soundtracks ever made, a version of Hathaway's Flash you can actually see, a version of Utena that isn't 75% stock footage, a version of Legends of The Galactic Heroes where the empire has decent medical tech and cure Reinhart's collagen disease before the 60 episode mark, a version of Nanoha with competent monster designs that show up more often, a version of Demon Slayer without blonde guy and boar head (I know village swordsmith arc does that, but that's not most of the series), a version of Project A-ko where the animation is tolerable, a version of Kill la Kill where Ryuko dies of blood loss within the first episode because there is no way she wouldn't realistically, Godzilla Singular Point being an actual kaiju series with kaiju action and the science babble is tossed in the trash, Black Lagoon having Revy die in the first episode.... **** it, lets fix good anime:
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann where the Anti Spiral decapitates Simon and blows up the Earth with everyone dying, Death Note where Light Yagami wins, Tetsujin 28 FX with better animation, Getter Robo Armageddon where the Earth is destroyed and consumed by the Invaders, Platinum End with good music, Gravion where the Zeravire successfully enslave humanity, Godannar where everyone turns into Mimetic Beasts, Combattler V where the Campbellians successfully blow up the planet, Gun X Sword where Claw Man's plan succeeds and Van failed to avenge his wife, Ryu Knight where the Dragon Tribe turns Earthtia into their personal shooting range, Gunbuster where the Space Terrible Monster Crowd devours the sun while treating Earth like a vacation to aspen and everyone admits their defeat. **** it, you can just erase a lot of ecchi garbage while you're at it. pol found a way to bypass safety measure bullshit, hopefully we can get proper gory anime again, I would love to see Hell Target levels of carnage in television length without anything sexual ruining the fun. Humans need to lose more often, it's time that monsters reign supreme.
