I hear this was animated in Japan by Sunrise! The animation was actually decent! (It's just too bad Ruby-Spears never credited Sunrise, or any of the Japanese animators, which I thought was rather underhanded.)

The concept is okay. (Jack Kirby worked on this series!) But it seems more like an armored version of GI Joe. Meh.

Count this as American anime.

Yeah, I poured a 40 for Shin-Chan when that got canceled. The dub scripts may not have been faithful but they were so funny. Hiring Evan Dorkin to work on them was a stroke of genius.

Yeah, but that was nothing compared to how I felt when they cancelled Drinky Crow

I loved waking up extra early on Monday mornings (on CNW) and watching it just before I had to catch the bus to school

It was honestly one of the most brilliant shows that I've seen in a while, everything else is mildly entertaining when it wants to be
