The biggest win here is Andy’s hair. That new style finally gives him personality. No more ‘90s anime fluff. His whole outfit has texture now—gauntlets, gloves, tunic—all have good detail. SNK’s art team deserves praise for making these small elements work together. Also, the particle effects on his attacks are just awesome. I know that’s not gameplay-critical, but it makes the character feel alive. Hokutomaru getting cratered was a bit much, but it does show how powerful Andy is. I just wish they showed more of the Chun-Li and Ken content of
hair perm types.
