Amazon Opposes USPS Saturday mail ending

and here's my section where i whine :D ........... i don't want to wait 2 days for a package to come in! >_< waiting an extra day through sunday is torturous enough as it is! ;_________;
Same here. I order a lot of stuff online and don't particularly want to wait any longer than I already have to.

This is really the tip of the iceberg. They're trying to find places anywhere to cut government spending (except for the one place they need to be cutting spending: Defense spending). Get ready to feel the country's belt tighten.

There should be mail delivery EVERYDAY. Give some other people part time hours for the weekend deliveries or even overtime hours.

Why there should be mail delivery everyday? It's annoying, so it'd better if we get mail during the weekdays, not weekends. Now I don't get the mail during the weekends anymore, that's good.

That will help them saving a billion of dollars. Come on, you have to think about tight economy. Economy's still growing, but it's going at very slow rate. You have to remember that we're very lucky to dodge that bullet, deepen ourselves in the depression. Depression happened in 1930's, the business back in the old days were barely survived.

So try to remember that in the back of your head. It's very important for them to saving a billion of dollars. I'm in support, rather than opposes USPS Saturday mail ending.

How about you stop using email/text/etc...to send messages to friends and family and just send a letter with postage instead? The USPS has been hit hard more from the Internet than anything else. That includes UPS, so why should the USPS close down Saturday mailing, when you should be the one going down to your local Post Office and purchasing stamps where the Postal Service makes the bulk of their money.

I'm not in favor of this, if I saw my package via tracking code arriving in my area on a Friday afternoon would not it not be great to see if arrive at your place the next day as oppose to Monday? Also anyone who ships packages would agree with me that if you can't make it on the weekday hours, Saturday is a saving grace for all of us.

Why should I stop using email? They're part of my life and will never stop using email. It doesn't make sense if I should stop using email/text/etc? Writing a letter with postage is really waste of my time.

And like I said, I'm in favor of this, because it will save them billion of dollars. We are still in recovering from bad economy that has crippling us for few years now. Can't you see that they're struggling during the bad economy, despite that we're on the road to recovery?

And it won't kills you waiting for the packages on Monday, rather than getting the package on Saturday? It's very short weekends that's being part of our daily life.

I can't wait till the Apocalypse so Kevin Costner can start his own postal route on horseback.
