Amanda Conner on the Black Canary Barbie Hubbub

Sheesh, all this commotion about a DC Character turned Barbie Doll.

We already an Anime doll of Supergirl and Batgirl, what's next?!

The Anime doll of the Earth-11 Batman and Superman a.k.a "Batwoman" and "Superwoman"!?

Wait until Mattel releases a DC Barbie of Power Girl and people will really freak out.

Power Girl is one of the worst characters in comics and easily has one of the worst costumes in comics but still there a lot better things Christians could be up in arms about.

As for Black Canary I think the costume looks great and I don't see anything to be alarmed about.

Wtf? Power Girl has a great costume and is a pretty good character. Roll on JSA Annual #1.

Remeber the M.J. Laundry fiasco last year? Same ****, people (in M.J.'s case feminist in Canary's case Christian zealots) looking too deep into something.

How much do you actually know about Power Girl? They've done some pretty cool stuff with her. Like her being Earth 2 Supergirl.
