Akibaranger : some similar stuff in previous Arakawa work?

Hikonin sentai Akibaranger, the unofficial sentai is pretty amazing because it points out and of course makes fun of a lot of sentai tropes, be them plot points, characterizations, puns, stock plot used regularly in episodes of different series, but also the fan reactions and behaviour, especially the otaku. It does it not only for sentai, but also with anime, as seen with that intentionnaly cliché Z-Cune Aoi shoujo anime. In every episode, all those elements are affectionally parodied, and the series affectionally makes fun, but also is an homage of both Super Sentai and the otaku community. He also do a satire of the anime and toku industry, and sometimes it can be pretty daring, like making "Hatte Saburo" (i.e Toei executives) the main villain.

Akibaranger is written by Naruhisa Arakawa, and it's obvious that it's a very personal work, where he is able to write the way he wants.

However, do you feel that Arakawa had already introduced some of those elements, that would flourish in Akibaranger, in his "official" sentai series, such as Abaranger, Dekaranger and Gokaiger (or even in episodes of series where he is a secondary writer)? Even if he had less freedom than in Akibaranger, do you think that he managed to start tha trend of making fun of sentai tropes, fan reaction and even do a satire of then anime, toku and idol industry?

Naruhisa Arakawa has always been a very light-hearted writer, but he has a knack for creating extremely likable characters and, when necessary, handles drama effectively. While I haven't seen Abaranger (waiting for decent subs to come out eventually), I absolutely loved Dekaranger, enjoyed Gokaiger, and Kuuga remains my all-time favorite tokusatsu series. He's also a brilliant anime writer: he was behind the extremely overlooked classic Blue Seed, wrote both seasons of Spice & Wolf, and is the creator of the strangely enjoyable Steel Angel Kurumi.

Anyways, Akibaranger is pretty much further proving Arakawa is a living, breathing Super Sentai encyclopedia (as if Gokaiger wasn't enough to prove that). He's always had a knack for pervy humor, he's been behind shows full of panty flashes as far back as the episodes he wrote for Jetman ("Ako's panties sure are cute!").

Finally, off the top of my head, one of his favorite tropes that he writes is the "bad monster turns good" episode. Going back to Jetman, one of the first episodes he wrote was the one with the Dimension Monster trying to prove his worth after he was deemed useless when the BioDimension Monsters were born. Also, his main arc in Dairanger was the "Three Stooges" arc, where a group of monsters pretty much gives up trying to be evil and instead want to be friendly rivals with Shouji/TenmaRanger. Arakawa takes this trope, which he made famous, and turns it on its head with the Tsukushima Alpaca character and Akibaranger trying to make him eviler.
