AEW Franchise Expands To TBS In 2022

All Elite Wrestling, or AEW for short, is a newcomer to the pro wrestling scene, but one that has found success on a level that previous challengers to WWE and WCW haven’t. The franchise started in 2018 when Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) broke from wrestling promotion Ring of Honor to hold their own independent wrestling event, which they dubbed (at the time) All In. It attracted attention and other wrestlers, and they decided to make a go of it by officially founding AEW.
Now the league has its own weekly show on TNT, and it’s about to grow even bigger. AEW Dynamite will be joined by AEW Rampage, a second series, later this summer. The show will be an hour long and run at 10 PM weekly on TNT. It might be getting a little crowded on that channel now, which is why AEW Dynamite has plans to move itself to sister station TBS next year.
