I usually max her on the earliest parts of the game by grinding so I can enjoy all of her limit breakers before she dies. It will be very beneficial early on. If you guys don't want to use her because she will die, well you do you.
I also have no plans of using her. I want to level up characters I can use until the very end. There should be some sort of a reward for the player after her death to make me play her.

Goodluck on not having a healer on your team. She is necessary to use because healing is important early on. You will spending a lot of healing items without her.
As someone who never played the original, You just spoiled the game for me.

Ummm You didn't notice the the word spoiler in the title? I think the title is already a red flag by that alone, So there is no reason to be angry about that.
I am pretty sure she was required on many quests of this game. I don't remember her being optional but she has always been part of my party when I played back then. She have the most powerful limit breakers so I always used her until Sephiroth made a kebobs out of her.

The game is episodic and Episode 1 will be a super long game. Aerith will also not die on Episode 1 so I don't think it will be a waste to use her. She will have a longer role on this game. By the end of episode 1 she will still be alive. I am sure you will replay episode 1 multiple times while waiting for episode 2 so one way or another you will player her.
I will still play her but I am going to do my best to max her out before the episode where she will face her demise. I will try to max her at episode 1 just in case she dies on episode 2.
You guys will be waiting for multiple months before episode 2 gets released so within those months of waiting, I am sure you will end up playing Aerith for replay value sake.

You don't know what you are missing, I already played episode 1 and she is very fun to play with. You will be waiting for a long time before episode 2, so you will replay the game multiple times while waiting. Give her a try!
Also many remakes made changes, what if she wont die on this version.
