This week Nintendo sent out a twelve-minute broadcast where Shigeru Miyamoto himself gave the world a tour of the soon-to-open Nintendo Museum. We assumed it would be a dry affair with a bunch of consoles and games stacked on shelves behind glass, but that goes to show how dumb we are. Like Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios Park, the Nintendo Museum is a fully interactive, game-in-real-life experience. There are shelves and glass, to be sure, but things get Nintendo-ian very fast. You can play some of the games…but you have to use THE BIGGEST CONTROLLERS KNOWN TO MAN. Miyamoto […]

As a lifelong Nintendo fan, this museum is a dream come true. I've been following the company since the early days of the NES, and I've seen firsthand how they've evolved and shaped the gaming industry. The idea of being able to explore a museum dedicated to Nintendo's history is both thrilling and humbling. I can't wait to see the original hanafuda cards, the early prototypes of the NES, and the countless other artifacts that have helped to define the company's legacy. I'm also eager to try out the interactive exhibits and relive some of my favorite gaming moments.

The museum sounds like a collector's paradise. I'd love to see all the rare and vintage Nintendo items. The interactive exhibits would be a fun way to experience the games in a new way. I hope I can get tickets to visit.

The Nintendo Museum sounds like a great place to take my kids, but I'm concerned about the cost of admission. I hope it's not too expensive, especially considering the lottery system for tickets

The Mii tickets are a great way to connect the museum experience to the modern digital world. It's a clever way to bridge the gap between the past and the present. I'm excited to see how the museum has incorporated technology into the exhibits and create a truly immersive and engaging experience.

I'm totally going to check this out! I've always been fascinated by the history of video games. It's awesome that they're bringing back old-school games and giving them a new twist. I'm especially excited about the interactive exhibits.

I love exploring the history of video games and learning about how they've evolved over time. The Nintendo Museum seems like the perfect place to do that. I'm particularly interested in the interactive exhibits that allow visitors to experience classic games in new and innovative ways. I can't wait to try out the giant card game and the Hanafuda playing cards.

This museum looks like a lot of fun! I'm not a hardcore gamer, but I love playing Nintendo games. It's cool that they're offering a variety of interactive experiences. I'll definitely have to check it out.

I find it fascinating that many people are unaware of Nintendo's rich history. It's amazing to think that this iconic gaming company started out as a playing card company over a century ago. And to think that they're still in the card game business, albeit in a much different form with the incredible value of Pokémon cards.

It's a testament to Nintendo's adaptability and innovation that they've been able to stay relevant for so long. From traditional playing cards to groundbreaking video games, they've consistently pushed the boundaries of what's possible in the entertainment industry. I wonder if anyone could have predicted that a company founded in 1889 would one day be synonymous with popular video games and gaming consoles.

As a collector, I'm really interested in seeing all the vintage Nintendo products on display. I'm also curious to see how the interactive exhibits compare to the original games.
