EDIT- Wait a tic....it seems it might have just risen from the dead, for it's now working........but for how long!?

EDIT 2- About 30 seconds. That's how long

EDIT 3- And now I'm sending it in for repair

I've had mine for almost two years and so far I havent had to send that bad boy in for repair. A shelf even fell on the sucker and it still runs! probably doesnt run at optimum efficiency though. >_> *knocks on wood*

It's going to be awhile, but Brawl and No More Heroes came out when I sent my Xbox for repair. So, to be honest, I didn't notice >_>

But, it sucks nontheless. Hold out as long as you can, man!

I never buy a system unless I'm sure there's games I wanna play on it. And really, some of the games on the 360 make it seem...tempting.

But again, I'm skeptical because of all the problems I keep hearing.

The last few batches of 360s have been much better with this sort of thing, so hopefully your repaired one will work. That sucks, man.

Be careful with those too. Some offbrand kinds are known to hurt your Xbox system and not help it. Because they draw on power from the 360 to run and 360 only has enough power to run itself.

What I do is I keep two fans constantly blowing on my 360, and I have the 360 elevated a bit in a cooled room. I dont put the 360 on anything thats heated like a TV. Keep it elevated with a stack of books on a cool shelf. So yeah, probably why mines lasted so long.

The common problem with a lot of 360s is that it overheats and the users tend to put their 360s in bad spots that worsens the heating problems.
