A good dvd player

I've had an RCA 5255p DVD player i got for christmas in 2001 only lasted 4 1/2 years. Died a couple months ago. It was garbage anyway.

What's a good DVD player you'd recommend?

Depends on what you're looking for. Do you want a region free dvd? Assuming you're in that area - some have hacks, some don't. There's a website (which I've forgotten atm) that lists the ones with hacks. You're going to have to be more specific.

I currently have a Philips DVP642 that is regionfree, plays almost every format of video and music. Ie. It plays DVDs with avi files, mp3, vcd, etc.
