That's the link to the fanmade trailer. I have to say, it was not bad. Of course the acting was bad but what do you expect when it's fanmade? I thought the special effects were decent and I did like the Kamehameha part. The pose didn't look right though. But yeah, this trailer accomplished the feel of the Saiyan Saga. It also helped me forget about that horrible Evolution movie that came out years ago too. So it did it's good.
The acting was bad and it felt corny as sin, but overall, I loved it.
It has the making of something good and casting was good, but it needs some more fleshing out and better choreo. The effects are OK for fanmade and it brought some justice to it, but if they do anything else, they need to team up with Freddie Wong and. His effects are darn impressive.
I did love the news scene and the setting and it felt like a film until after that....
Dunno if anyone's tried this. I used Youtube doubler to match their original animated version of the trailer with the final product. Honestly, it looks to me as basically exactly what they wanted. Acting definitely could have been better, but everything else seems to fit just as they initially imagined. What say you all?
That Runaways film needs to become official really bad, because this is how I see a Dragonball film actually work. A bit or dark, but keep it a pulsating action thriller with some comedic scenes in it. And besides that, Z would not seem as inconsistent in tone.
