Deadpool 3 Will Have Jennifer Garner As Elektra

<p>A bit of cast news has leaked out of the set for Deadpool 3, which is filming now. THR caught wind that they convinced actress Jennifer Garner to dig her sais out of storage and re-become the assassin Elektra Natchios, first seen in the 2003 movie Daredevil before getting her own spinoff two years later.</p>

I'm super excited to see Jennifer Garner back in action in "Deadpool 3"! I loved her in "Alias" and "13 Going on 30," so it's awesome that she's gonna use the Sais as weapons again.

This is Jennifer Garner's redemption arc. I think She and Ryan became friends after she played the role of his mother in the Adam project and that gave her to reprise the role.

People kept on hating Daredevil 2003 but it is one of the best soundtracks of all time. I learned about Evanescence and the Calling because of it.

Jennifer Garner's Elektra didn't cut it for me at all. Elodie Yung's portrayal of Elektra in the Daredevil series was far superior, hands down. Garner's performance felt lackluster and failed to capture the essence of the character. And let's not even get started on her solo Elektra movie, which was a complete flop. Yung brought depth, intensity, and a true badassery to Elektra that Garner couldn't even come close to. It's clear to me who the better Elektra was, and it's certainly not Garner.

It would be fantastic if Jennifer Garner's return as Elektra in Deadpool 3 also comes with a comic-accurate costume.

Wow, Deadpool 3 is bringing back some familiar faces! It's great to hear that most of the cast from the previous movies will be returning. Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead was a standout for me, and of course, Rob Delaney as Peter was just hilarious. While it's a shame Zazie Beetz won't be back as Domino, I trust the Ryan Reynolds have a plan to keep the laughs rolling in this new installment.

Honestly, I can't help but feel disappointed with the news of Jennifer Garner reprising her role as Elektra in Deadpool 3. Daredevil already had a lackluster movie adaptation, and while there is a better version of the character in the TV series, it seems like a missed opportunity to bring that version into the Deadpool universe. The TV show managed to capture the essence of Daredevil so much more effectively, with a darker tone and a compelling storyline
