And I don't know who he is either.

Yeah, clicked on it. Hmm.. it's some film. Watched the trailer... ..but I don't really see what the big excitement about this film is.

Damn those Spartans were serious bad-asses. Fighting wearing only a loincloth and helmet? Against, if I'm not wrong, 10,000 Persians?

[HIDE]From the trailer and what my friend was telling me, it's how the Greeks, I think, asked the Spartans for help defending a spot against the Persians. The two groups made a pact to be there and fight together but the Greeks chickened out and left 300 Spartans against the full force of Persia. The story goes that the 300 took out 10,000 Persians before finally being wiped out, without even considering the thought of running away/surrendering. That's the gist of it...correct me if I'm wrong.[/HIDE]

I went to the special private screening last month... sadly the theatre was filled up so about 100 people could not watch it. So instead they gave us free tickets to whatever movie of our choice so a friend and I settled for Stranger Than Fiction instead
