2 Korean Movies With Hitchcock Titles (Part 1 of 2)

The Hitchcock movie Spellbound is a classic, so I'm interested to see how the Korean remake compares. I'm not usually a fan of rom-coms, but the horror element might make it more appealing. The idea of a girl who can see ghosts is definitely intriguing. I hope the movie explores the psychological aspect of her ability.

Korean remakes with classic titles, huh? Interesting approach. I gotta admit, the Hitchcock Spellbound is a hard act to follow. That movie messed with your head in the best way possible. But a rom-com with ghosts? Sounds like a fun twist. Maybe they'll even throw in some clever homages to the original. Lee Min-Ki's been in a bunch of stuff I liked, so that's a plus. Definitely gotta check out the trailer and see what the vibe is.
In fact, both of the Hitchcock movies were a tough act to follow. To be honest, I happened to be watching another K-drama and the guy kept mentioning Hitchcock. That's what gave me the idea to search for Koran dramas with Hitchcock titles. There are a few K-dramas that were the Korean version of based on American dramas. So I was wondering if that was the case with these 2 movies. But they turned out to be nothing like the Hitchcock films.

Ooh, gotta add the Korean Spellbound to my ever-growing list of Lee Min-Ki movies to watch. The guy's got great taste in scripts! The whole "half-seeing" ghosts thing has me intrigued. Maybe it's a metaphor for something deeper, or maybe it's just a fun plot device. Either way, I'm always down for a good Korean rom-com, especially one with a spooky twist. Gotta check out the trailer and see if it fits the vibe I'm looking for.
Lee Min-Ki is a good actor but this was not his best K-drama. However, I do have to say that he looked very handsome when he was dressed up as a magician.

It's interesting that the movies have the same names. That probably gets them more viewers and more publicity.

Yeah. It probably gets them more viewers. But it is very annoying when you're trying to do a search. You're looking for one thing and everything else with similar names pops up on the first page of results. Very frustrating.
