I think it's cool that Xolo Maridueña could be back as Blue Beetle; he really brought a fresh energy to the role in his solo film. However, I wonder how they'll balance the character's tone with Superman's classic hero vibe. If done well, it could lead to some fun interactions, but I hope they focus more on character development than just throwing in fan service.

He literally said "I can't say anything about Blue Beetle" and everyone is acting like that's a confirmation. Guys that's just him avoiding the question. Sandra Bullock calling him a politician was funny though, that part I enjoyed more than the actual news. I still think we need an official studio statement before we get excited. Actors slip up all the time in interviews but this one trained himself well, not a single detail leaked. I respect the discipline honestly, most people would panic and say too much.

This makes me really happy if true. Blue Beetle deserved way more attention than it got in theaters, the movie had heart and good family dynamic which is rare these days. If Xolo comes back for Man Of Tomorrow that means DC actually cares about giving these characters a future instead of dropping them after one movie. I hope they build his story more this time and give him proper screen time with Superman. Fingers crossed for real.

I don't know why people get so hyped over these non confirmations. Every actor says stuff like this before a big reveal, it means nothing until we see a trailer or official cast list. I'll believe it when Warner Bros posts something themselves.

I want to see him interact with Superman on screen, that would be a great dynamic since they are both kind of new to this universe. Hoping the writing gives him more depth this time, first movie felt a bit rushed in some parts even though I still liked it overall. Bring more Beetle content please.
