What Am I made for?
The mix of fantasy and horror elements in "NIGHTBORN" sounds intriguing, especially with the inspiration from Nordic mythology. I'm a sucker for films that bring folklore to life, and it's cool to see more stories that explore that realm, like what we saw recently in "Midsommar." I'm curious how they'll handle the trolls and nature spirits though; it could either be really chilling or just fall flat.

Do you think they'll lean more into the horror aspect or the fantasy? I'm hoping for a balance that gives us a hauntingly beautiful experience!

Rupert Grint has really surprised me over the last few years. I only knew him as Ron Weasley for a long time, but he keeps choosing projects that are nothing like Harry Potter. I watched Servant and thought he handled serious roles well. This movie looks like another step in that direction. I also like that it is based on Nordic mythology instead of the usual haunted house or demon story. A creepy forest can be much scarier than a monster that keeps appearing on screen. If the movie focuses more on atmosphere than cheap scares, I think I will enjoy it.

I like horror that mixes folklore with family drama, so this sounds like something I would watch. The idea that the forest itself might be part of the problem is more interesting to me than another movie with random jump scares. Rupert Grint keeps picking darker roles, and I think that has been a good move for him. I also want to see Seidi Haarla because I have not watched many Finnish films before. The story feels familiar, but the Nordic setting gives it a different mood.

The trailer gave me the feeling that this is going to be a slow movie. That is not a bad thing because I actually like horror that takes its time. I just hope the ending gives clear answers. Sometimes these folk horror movies spend so much time building mystery that the ending feels weak. Still, the setting looks great and I am interested enough to give it a chance.

The plot reminds me of a few older horror movies, but I do not mind because every generation tells similar stories in different ways. The Finnish setting is probably the biggest reason I want to watch this. Most horror movies I see come from the US or the UK, so it is nice when another country brings its own myths and traditions into the story. That alone makes it feel different.
