I had to read excerpts of “Faust” when I was in high school, so I understood the plot. The difference was that the person realized the talent wasn't their talent. It has been stolen. Usually people make a deal with the devil, and when it's time to seal the deal, they just want to get out of the contract. They don't usually try to make things right.

At any rate, the music, i.e. the soundtrack, would have drawn me into the drama anyway. I'll watch a K-drama even if the storyline sucks, as long as the soundtrack is good. LOL.
