Really enjoy melodramas, so this is exactly my type. I liked how the show used Christmas as a background theme. Not for decoration, but for the feeling of wanting warmth in cold times. The love story is messy, but I appreciate that it does not try to make everything look perfect. People grow, separate, and come back together with new scars. I think the reunion scene at the engagement party was one of the most intense moments.

I like that the story does not hide the social differences between them. Kang-Jin grows up fighting every day, while Ji-Won grows up with more comfort but also more expectations. Their connection feels honest because they both need something the other has. I also thought the adult versions of the characters felt believable. They still carried their teenage fears, but they tried to act mature. The snow metaphor is simple but fits their journey well.

I think what stands out most is how the show treats longing. Kang-Jin and Ji-Won are not only missing each other. They are also missing the versions of themselves before the tragedy. The story shows how hard it is to grow up when your most painful moment happens so early in life. I found the ending hopeful, not because everything becomes perfect, but because they finally face their memories without running away. For me, that is the closest thing to snow on Christmas.
