Wait, so we're getting a sports comedy drama in 2025? I’m intrigued but also a little skeptical. I mean, is this really going to be the next big thing or just another “money-grab” situation?

The premise sounds like it has potential, especially with the family angle and the whole redemption arc for the coach. But if the humor falls flat, we might be in for a rough 2 episodes.

Also, can we talk about how the daughter’s health adds a layer of seriousness? Like, are we ready for those feels while trying to laugh at basketball antics? Somebody convince me this is worth my time!

I just finished both episodes, and I didn’t expect to care this much about a basketball drama. What hit me was how real Coach Maeng felt. He’s not a typical hero—he’s bitter, tired, and obviously hiding a lot of pain. I like that the show didn’t make him explain everything right away. And the whole storyline with Go Hwa-jin? Unexpected but actually believable. It wasn’t just “enemies to friends” for the sake of a twist. The kid knows basketball, and their dynamic makes the show work. I think the writing deserved that MBC prize.

Two episodes is too short. I need more. They barely scratched the surface with the team’s chemistry and why Go Hwa-jin follows basketball so closely. I felt like the story needed a full 8 or 10 episodes to breathe. But for what we got, it was solid. Park Sung-Woong carried the show. His acting when he’s talking to his daughter is what stayed with me most.

This was funnier than I expected. I usually skip sports dramas, but the comedy kept me in. Coach Maeng’s reactions to Go Hwa-jin were gold. Like, he’s so serious and angry all the time, and then this teenager starts telling him how to run drills? That kind of clash just works. Honestly, I’d watch a sequel just to see them train the team during the playoffs.
