“The Veil” is a Korean drama series released in 2021, has 14 episodes, and can be categorized as Action, Spy, Thriller and Suspense, and Crime and Mystery. This series has a prequel: “Moebius: The Veil” (or “Moebius Project 2012: The Vei”.) ♦ A Missing Spy is Finally Found In “The Veil”, there is a boat in the water but a man has just been thrown overboard. Several people on the boat looked like they were hoping that they would have a better life wherever the ship was taking them. They had no clue that the boat was a butcher ship. The passengers had been deceived. Their organs were going to be harvested and the rest of their body would be tossed overboard. The passengers consisted of men, women, and children. When the butchers tried to take a man’s young daughter the father fought back but he was overpowered. One passenger stood up to save the child. The butcher ended up dead. After that, all of the butchers ended up dead.

The premise of an undercover spy losing his memory and returning to uncover a mole within his own agency is thrilling. The way Han Ji-Hyuk intentionally erased his memory to reset and solve the mystery adds such a unique twist to the spy genre. Namkoong Min's portrayal of Ji-Hyuk sounds intense and gripping. I'm especially intrigued by the dynamic between Ji-Hyuk and Yoo Je-Yi, given her innocence and his deep mistrust. It seems like their partnership will be full of tension and unexpected revelations. I can’t wait to dive into this series and see how it unfolds. The high ratings on various platforms also make me optimistic about the quality of the show.

So...a missing spy with amnesia taking down organ harvesters on a boat? Sign. Me. Up. This "The Veil" drama sounds like my kind of jam. Packed with action, suspense, and a mystery to unravel? Plus, Namgoong Min is in it? Consider this added to my watchlist immediately.

I’m always looking for new international shows to watch, and "The Veil" sounds like a fantastic pick. The mix of action, suspense, and psychological drama is very appealing. Han Ji-Hyuk’s story of losing and then regaining his memory to find a mole within his agency is a captivating premise. The cultural context of a Korean spy agency adds an extra layer of interest for me as an international viewer. The relationship dynamics, particularly with Yoo Je-Yi, look like they will add depth to the plot. The high ratings on various platforms are promising, and I’m excited to see how this series compares to other international spy dramas I’ve enjoyed. This definitely seems like a binge-worthy show!

A colleague turns out to be a mole? And the amnesia might be self-inflicted? This plot is getting twisty already! I love a good spy thriller where you can't trust anyone, and "The Veil" sounds like it delivers on that front. Gotta keep my eyes peeled for clues!

Intriguing dynamic between the jaded, betrayed Ji-Hyuk and the wide-eyed rookie Je-Yi. Is her innocence a facade, or is this a genuine clash of perspectives? I'm curious to see how their partnership evolves as they navigate this web of deceit. I do love a good underdog story, so maybe Ji-Hyuk's quest for truth will win me over. Just gotta manage my expectations with those high ratings.

Thanks for the review! The mix of ratings is interesting, but with a trailer link, I can at least get a feel for the vibe before committing. Hopefully there are subtitles available for international viewers!

This drama is like a delicious bowl of paranoia stew! Ji-Hyuk's journey to uncover the mole is intense, and the writers do a fantastic job of keeping you guessing. Just when you think you know who the traitor is, BAM! Another twist throws you off balance. The amnesia angle adds another layer of mystery, making you wonder what Ji-Hyuk is hiding from himself. If you like unpredictable spy thrillers with a healthy dose of distrust, "The Veil" is your jam.

Viki viewers know what's good! "The Veil" is a masterclass in building suspense and keeping you glued to the screen. Yes, the action is top-notch, but it's the emotional journey of Ji-Hyuk that elevates the show. You feel his anger, his confusion, and his desperate need for the truth. The supporting cast is excellent too, especially Kim Ji-Eun as Je-Yi. Don't let the high ratings scare you off; this drama deserves all the praise it gets.

Anybody who enjoys intense spy thrillers will like “The Veil”. It's not cheesy like some spy thrillers where the spy is loaded up with special gadgets. (Not dissing James Bond and Q. LOL.) But a real spy needs quick-thinking intelligence and extreme survival skills. The main character has mental and physical prowess, AND the strong will and determination to seek out The Enemy. Your are also pumped for him to catch that mole.
