I loved the character development for all of the characters, but especially for the princess and the guy she made friends with when she was in Japan. They did not have a romantic connection. But they definitely had a strong bond between each other. I really liked that because she was a princess, but she was also humble.

What I liked was the way the pampered princess quickly adapted to her new surroundings. She had attitude. “In Joseon, I'm a princess. In Japan, I'm a slave. I will survive!”
