I've been diving back into some classic Bendis runs lately, and man, he really knows how to craft a compelling narrative! His work on "Ultimate Spider-Man" is a masterclass in character development. I mean, who could forget the iconic moment when Peter realizes he's become a public figure? Bendis captured that teenage angst and responsibility so perfectly!
And can we talk about his "Avengers" series? The way he balanced such a massive roster while keeping personal stakes at the forefront was phenomenal. I still get chills thinking about the "Kree-Skrull War" arc and how he revitalized so many characters. It's storytelling like that that made me fall deeper for Marvel!
But I know he's a bit divisive among fans. Some love his dialogue-heavy style, while others find it repetitive. What do you all think? Am I being overly nostalgic? What's your favorite Bendis run, and why does it stand out for you? Let's hear those thoughts!
