I think they are doing the right thing by hiding Sadie Sink's role. These days it feels like every big movie gives away the biggest surprise before release. I would rather spend two hours in the theater and actually be surprised. The line about the villain looking like anyone got my attention more than anything else in the trailer. It makes me think a lot of the footage we already saw might not mean what we thought it did. If that is true, then Marvel did a better job hiding the story than usual. I still think Jean Grey is the most likely choice, but I would not be shocked if they have something completely different planned.

I am getting tired of hearing Peter read the same letter over and over. Every trailer keeps using it like it is supposed to hit harder each time. It had more impact the first time. I would rather see a few new scenes instead of another version of the same speech. I am still watching the movie because I like Tom Holland as Spider-Man, but these last trailers have not really increased my excitement. They mostly remind me of the older ones.

I still cannot believe they managed to keep Sadie Sink's character hidden this long. With how many leaks happen these days, that is actually impressive. It almost feels like everyone knows except the audience. That makes me even more curious to see what they have been protecting. At this point I do not need another trailer. I just want the movie to come out so all the guessing can finally end.

Keeping Sadie Sink's character hidden this close to release is actually impressive. Most studios would have shown everything by now just to get more attention. The line about the villain looking like anyone makes all the earlier trailers feel different. Maybe some of those scenes were never as simple as they looked. Jean Grey still seems like the safest guess, but it would be funny if everyone spent months arguing only for Marvel to reveal someone completely unexpected.

Expectations for Jean Grey are getting so high that there is almost no way everyone will be happy. Sometimes fans convince themselves that one theory has to happen, and then they get upset when the movie goes somewhere else. A well-written character matters much more than whether the name matches months of online guesses.

That one line about the villain changing appearance completely changed how the trailer felt. Earlier scenes with Rhino and Scorpion suddenly seem suspicious instead of straightforward. Trailers rarely make me want to go back and rewatch older footage, but this one actually did. There might be more hiding in plain sight than people realize.

More curiosity is coming from the villain than the mystery casting. A Spider-Man story where nobody can fully trust what they are seeing sounds much more interesting than another fight with a big enemy. If the movie really plays with that idea instead of using it for one surprise, it could make the story feel very different from the recent films.
