I think it's fascinating how the Resident Evil franchise has evolved over the years, both in films and games. While Anderson’s take definitely leaned more towards his own brand of storytelling, it's impressive to see how the newer adaptations are trying to align more closely with the source material. I’m personally a fan of the 2021 reboot because it really embraced the horror elements and the game lore, which is what a lot of longtime fans have been craving.

I'm curious about what they’ll do next with the adaptations! Do you think they’ll continue with the darker, more faithful approach, or will they veer back into the action-heavy territory again?
 
I'm so tired of these movies that keeps on using the title Resident Evil but felt nothing like Resident Evil. Looks like it's gonna be a good movie, but it's not going to be Resident Evil. Why can't we have an actual Resident Evil movie with Resident Evil characters on it without any movie-exclusive Mary Sues?
 
None of the movies except from the CGI ones are close to the source material. Most of them are messy. I mean, look at what they did to Welcome to Raccoon City. Why Leon is Indian, why Jill Valentine is black, and the Resident Evil Netflix series, why is Wesker a good guy, and why is he black? What's up with these race swapping?
 
if he is a Resident Evil fan, why is he naming the main character Brian when, you know, one of the most hated Resident Evil characters is named Brian Irons, you know, the pedophile rapist police chief of RPD? If he is a Resident Evil fan, he would have known that name is already used.
