I always found the dynamic between Sarah Lacina and Tony Vlachos really complicated, and I think it adds a lot of context to her story. Back in Survivor: Cagayan, they actually worked together at first, so there was trust there. That is why Tony blindsiding her felt more personal, not just strategy. Then in Survivor: Game Changers, it looked like there was a chance for her to get even, but it did not really happen because Tony got voted out early. That vote was led by Sandra Diaz-Twine, who had her own strong presence in that season. What is interesting is that Sarah later voted Sandra out, which became Sandra’s first real loss. By the time they met again in Survivor: Winners at War, it felt like a true final chapter. Sadly for Sarah, Tony won that round, so their rivalry ended with him on top.

I really hope Cirie Fields gets added to this kind of list. She is already very close, so it feels possible right now. She already won The Traitors, and that proved her social and strategic game works in a different format too. People have known her strength from Survivor for years, but she just needs that one win.

Now that Survivor 50 is already airing and we are several episodes in, it actually feels like her best chance. She understands how to manage people, and she stays calm even when things get tense. That kind of control is very important at this stage.

For me, she does not need to prove anything anymore except finishing the game. If she wins this season, then she clearly belongs on that list without any question.

I feel very proud reading about Melai Cantiveros. I watched her in Pinoy Big Brother before, and she was really just being herself. She was not pretending to be perfect, and that is why people liked her. When she joined Your Face Sounds Familiar, I remember many people did not expect her to win. They thought she was just for comedy. But she proved that she can transform and take things seriously when needed. I think her strength is that she connects with the audience naturally. Even if she is not the best technical performer, she gives something real. For me, that is why she succeeded in two different shows. She understands people, not just the game.

I feel sad that Deal or No Deal Island got canceled because I actually enjoyed watching it, especially the alliance between David Genat and Parvati Shallow. For me, that was one of the most interesting parts of the show. They both came from strong strategy backgrounds, so seeing how they worked together in a format that mixes luck and decision-making was really fun to watch.

I liked how they balanced each other. David stayed very controlled and careful, while Parvati brought experience and social awareness. It did not feel forced. It felt like they understood each other’s style. That made their scenes more engaging compared to others.

I think the show still had potential if it continued. There were many ways to develop the format and bring in more strong players. Losing it now feels like it ended too early, especially when alliances like that were just getting more interesting.
